It is a queen sized model and as with all of our headboards, we cover the fresh cut ends with a trim strip so all you see is weathered, aged material.

Designer Inspired Interiors. Toronto based designer Jaime Alexander wanted to create some bold feature walls in his 175 King St. East store.  He came to and settled on using our faded black barn board.  We hand picked and numbered the boards for three different scenes within the store.  As you can see below the results were great - check out the store in person.

F'Amelia Restaurant Bar. John from F'Amelia restaurant in Cabbagetown (Toronto) called upon to make a rustic table top for a cozy bar area adjacent to the restaurant.  In short order, we fabricated the top with some rough sawn hemlock boards for a nice, earthy look.  Check out for superb, authentic Italian food with great atmosphere.

Home Show Display - Organica Studio. Pat from Organica Design Studio came to with the idea of using reclaimed wood to create a high interest booth at the home show.  We hand selected all the boards for the booth including some live edge material to create a desk.  Pat's creative mind went to work from there and the results were impressive.  So much so that Organica won the best small booth award at the Home Show.  Check out for more information on the architecture and design firm.

Custom headboard. We created this custom wall mounted headboard for a client that wanted the rough sawn, warm brown look of the reverse side of grey barn board.  A piece with a live edge look to it was selected for the top and the side were trimmed off with thin strips of the same wood to cover up any areas that had exposed "fresh" cuts on the wood.

Beam Archway.  Metro Prep Academy private school in Toronto was looking for some huge barn beams to make an entranceway to the school with a big impact.  We supplied them with three 15 foot long 12x12 inch hand hewn barn beams.  The beams were joined together with some plate steel and the results are fantastic.

Steel and Wood Cabinet.  Here is an interesting piece brought to us for finishing by a customer.  They had a steel base fabricated and gave it to to complete with reclaimed wood.   We filled the doors, sides and interior with barn board as well as a shelf.  For the top we used 2 inch thick Douglas Fir that was reclaimed from Windfield Farms in Oshawa.  This is where the famous racehorse Northern Dancer was born.

Imprint Music Recording Studio Countertop was commissioned to complete a reclaimed hemlock countertop by Imprint Recording studio in Toronto.  It is a long top in two sections, one being 10 ft and the other about 8 ft long.  The job had to be done quickly to prep for an upcoming event and we pulled out all the stops to get it done asap.  Check out

Konrad Group Tables.  The Konrad Group tech company in Toronto commissioned to make some custom tables for their new King St. W location. We made a 12ft long workstation and a massive 5 ft by 10 ft conference table.  Both were made using industrial piping for the base.  The table base was painted a bright blue for an added punch of colour in the neutral toned room.

April customers Delphine and Marc wanted to build a sliding barn door from our grey boards.  We helped them select the best reclaimed wood for the project and they built it themselves - nice job.

Tables, Tables, Tables.  Here are 8 table tops created by for a commercial customer.  They are mounted on industrial pipe bases and used as workstations in an office.  The tables are constructed using 2 inch thick reclaimed hemlock floor boards with lots of character.  Some of the tops still show some of the whitewash that was on the wood when it was salvaged from the barn.

What is "whitewash" you say? - it is a coating used in animal barns in the middle of the 20th century to aid in sanitation.  It does this by coating and smoothing over rough surfaces making them easier to clean. The coating also has antimicrobial properties that provide hygienic and sanitary benefits.
